Default bootup help

Hi Vladaar

Using 3rd party utilities can be 'hazardous' at the best of times - as =
you have found out. Can you boot your PC with a Win ME/98 EBD and post =
the contents of your boot.ini file? Someone may be able to help you =
edit that file so that you can access XP again? When you say a =
'recovery' CD - is it just that and not an upgrade or OEM CD? You may =
have to contact your PC supplier for some more help.

I have a major problem.
=20
I wanted to change my bootup start screen.
=20
I did so with a program refered from this group. However,
it made like a partrition beginning where you had to wait=20
15 seconds or click on windows xp home.
=20
I saw another post that said just delete this line from=20
your boot.ini.
=20
I did that, and now I can't get my computer back up. It=20
won't even run the recovery windows xp disk. I don't know=20
what to do, I have tried everything I can think.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
