Folder Options
Hi Michael,
Windows remembers 400 folder settings. When that number is reached some settings aren't retained any longer. You can change this to 8000 by adding this edit to the registry. Run this first edit, reset your folder options, then run the second edit. Double click it and answer yes to the import prompt. Most likely the answer is going to be nada, but I want to know if there's anything I can do about this problem. Every few reboots, Windows XP decides to reset my folder options to default. So I go in and change the view options, what it shown in details and what is not, etc, only to have them all reset a week(or some other random amount of time) later. Any suggestions? |
