Hi Werner,

Right click the Start Button/Explore All Users/Start Menu/Programs. In

the
right pane drag and drop, add new folders, re-group, etc.

I'm sure this has been asked before and I'm still new at XP.

In Me I was able to set up start menu to group my programs such as the
office sub programs into a single group called office. When I reinstalled
office it placed all the group as separate programs such as office, access
etc. I know how to add a program into a group but I want to drag and drop
the icon into the group. I can't find a way to do it. I can;t even find a
place in explorer where it shows me the icons listed to do it.

Very confusing. Your help is much appreciated.

Also, you might find that the "classic" mode will look less confusing. Right click the Start menu button and click Properties. Try the classic mode. It behaves more like what you're already used to.
