Default Perform action when inserting disk or device

How can i disable this feature totally.
I means that XP should not display anything when i
insert a CD-rom or a Zip-disk.

Right click on the cd drive and go to properties. There
you will see an AutoPlay Tab. You can make your changes
in there.

Hi bejo,
Right click the drive in question and choose properties. Go to the autoplay
tab and choose each file type that you dont want any action to be taken on
from the dropdown list and then choose the "Select an action to perform"
radio button and select "take no action". OK your way out.

I have already try to do that. I can set "no action" on some of the the
"file types" but not all.
If i later uninstall or install a program or edit my file associations then
all of them will be set back to default.

What i need is a "trick" to hack the registry so this features will be
totally disabled !

/BeJo
