thumbnail on files keep changing

forgot to mention that in one case one folder was
mimicking the customized thumnail view of another folder
in my Shared Documents folder everytime I'd change one
folder's thumbnail the other would do the same. However
this folder was not shared and did not share a similar
names or paths. ???
