Default Question about 2K3 servers

You would waste time, money and resources. A server platform serves a
different purpose than a desktop machine. The software alone costs more
than several computers. As far as security and stability, there isn't that
much of an improvement, and Windows Server 2003 doesn't support some older
hardware that XP does.

Hi,
I was reading on MS site about the servers, could somebody please explain

to
me the advantage of any of the 2003 servers (Enterprise, Standard) over
Windows XP? Would it be stability? Security? I'm just a home user, no
network. Would my drivers for my periferals work with any of those

servers?
Or would I waste my time, money and resources on them? There's 2 users

using
this computer.

Thanks to all that answer and shed a light on this subject for me.

A.
