Default Changing Computer User Name

Could someone please explain how to change user name...It
is the name that you first enter when you startup for the
first time. I believe it resides in the registry...I am
unaware of how to change this without screwing anything
up. Please advise.

Default Changing Computer User Name

Peter,

Sorry but your question isn't very clear as to what you are trying to do.

- Are you trying to change the computer's name on a network? If so,
right-mouse-click on My Computer and choose Properties, Computer Name tab.

- If you are trying to change the log-in user name, go to Control Panel,
User Accounts and add/change them here.

- If it is the Registered User info, then follow Jupiter's recommendation.
