Default Video Drivers

My video card broke, so I bought a new one. When I went
to install the new one, I couldnt get the card to work,
even after removing any fragments out of the registry
from my old video card. I called tech support, and come
to find out that Windows had installed a set of generic
drivers that I need to remove in the registry before I
can install the new card. The tech didnt know how to do
it. Does anyone know what files I need to delete in the
registry to get my video working again?
