Playing videos on Media Player

Have they gone to "Play" on the toolbar of Media Player
then choose "DVD, VCD, CD Audio" and then choose the
drive in which the CD is?

I have Windows XP and the latest media player. I
downloaded some videos from Emule, converted them to
MPEG-
2 and burned CDs for a couple of friends. The CDs
played
fine on my computer but on their computer the drives
seem
to be reading the cd but nothing comes up on media
player. Are they missing a codec? any suggestions?
The
files are between 30 minutes to 1 hr long and I burned
them in Nero Super CD format.
