Default Movie Maker sound problems

Gabe,

Sound related issues like that are usually due to codecs - see the hardware
acceleration and codec page at

When I play my clips before joining them in movie maker,
the sound is good. After joining them, they sound like
the chip monks, very fast and garbled. Is there an
adjustment that I am missing?

Help.

Thanks
