Sony Digital Handycam DCR-TRV110E
Oh and device manager indicates that the "Texas
Instruments OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" is owrking properly! Bill -----Original Message----- Hmm, having read this email I went to this site: http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windowsxp/pro/ and the latest sp is 1 ???? I have the same problem with my DCR-PC120E, I have a laptop with an onboard IEEE 1394 card , the memory stick is recognized ok, but not the analogue output. I have set the camcorder to VCR and via the menu I have A/V - DV out but when I try to use Windows Movie maker (CApture from vdeo device) I always get the error message "A video capture device was not detected)??? Regs Bill Lang -----Original Message----- How are you connecting the camera? 1394 card or USB. XP needs SP2 to have updated USB2 drivers. In my experience XP recognises anything properly connected to typical 1394 cards. Appropriate drivers for such cards are usually updated automatically via the Windows update site. Must also switch camcorder to VCR mode for it to be recognised. Hope this helps. Richard. -----Original Message----- -----Original Message----- I have tried to open my Hanycam TRV110E on my new PC with XP on it but it can not see it, The old Windows 98 must have better eyes or The right Drivers??!!! Unless XP can not do a driver for the handycam.Going Mad HELP. . I've been having that same problem, assuming you're talking about the sony DCR-TRV11 digital video camera recorder, I can not get my computer to recognise it as even EXISTING. . . . |
