Default Computer locks up

my computer started locking up too. i also thought it had
something to do with the media player because it seemed
every time i ran it it would cause the PC to lock up.

after several hours on the phone with microsoft and
gateway, someone finally decided to tell me to check my
motherboard. well turns out i had a blown capacitor. and a
new motherboard fixed the problem.

try checking the motherboard and/or any other hardware
inside the PC. it really may not be a software problem.

-----Original Message-----
I got this computer about 3 months ago and everything
worked find for a while. The system started locking up
about a month ago. I locks up about every hour. I thought
it had something to do with media player. I removed
about every program file to see if one of them was
causing the conflict. In the event viewer I keep
getting " the Application Management sevice teminated
with the following error: the specifed module could not
be found. Event ID: 7023" I been trying to troubleshoot
myself for about 3 weeks. I contacted mircosoft and was
getting help their people. They closed the ticket
without resolution. They told me the format my drive and
start from the beginning. It didn't fix it and I stuck.
I hope someone know how to fix this because I'm about to
run over this system. Please help.
