how to remove write protection
We have a USB reader/writer for the smart card used in
our digital camera. When connected to the computer it shows up as another drive. Normally I can just copy the pictures from the "new" drive to wherever I want them on the hard drive of the computer. But I have been getting a message that tells me that the media cannot be written to because it's write protected and to go and remove the write protection. I have searched high and low to figure out how to remove the write protection, but I haven't found it yet and am getting a little frustrated. It must be something really simple. I want to be able to write to the disk if I want to use it for a slide show that I would put together of pictures from my hard drive. How can I remove the write protection? Thanks. |
