Default error 80040111

I've tried logging in to msn at least 500 times but it always says "signing
in to msn messenger has failed because the service is temporarily
unavailible.error 80040111. please try again l8ter." I've logged on at my
friend's house and it worked there it just dosn't work at my house. Plus when
im typing my user name it goes very slow and i makes my comp lague. It takes
almost 5 mins just to type my user name. Plus sometimes i try to log on and
it shows a popup saying "error UNICOWS.dLL"please note - I have a brand new
comp.- I got it 10 days ago so i dont think its a problem with it. the only
thing ive used on it so far is word perfect. and help things on it to try and
contact someone who can help. Ive phoned te place where the computer was
bought but they says id have to go and get it fixed somewhere else. My mom
has already spent 1400.00$ on the comp and she says il have to wait till we
have enough money to get it fixed. if you could help me fix it it would be
great.
