MS - Print Spooler Stops
I'm running XP Pro, and I'm trying to print to an HP printer.
The print job is locked in the que. I keep getting an error telling me my print spooler has stopped. I go into services and start the print spooling. It doesn't stay running, by the time I get back to the printer window the error message pops up telling me that the print spooler has stopped again. How do I keep it running? -- Dave |

MS - Print Spooler Stops
when the spooler service is stopped, delete the spl and shd files in
\windows\system32\spool\printers not start the service. If the Print Spooler service fails again, the drivers may need to be reinstalled. http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm -- Alan Morris Windows Printing Team Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base he http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1 This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.
