Default Printing and "Please wait while windows configures MS SQL Desktop

Hi,
I have a client who has HP LaserJet 4000(local) and HP 3505 color
printer(networked) and a software that requires MSDE(Microsoft SQL Server
Desktop Engine) 2000. The software that requires the MSDE runs fine
indicating that the MSDE has been successfully installed and configured.

The problem is whenever he tries to print a document from MS Word the
"Please wait while windows configures MS SQL Desktop Server Engine" message
pops up. This installer file runs, but never completes and gets caught in a
loop. for 2 or 3 minutes, then stops. Printing works fine, but then if you go
in there again it happens.

Does anyone know what is happening and how this can be solved. It is rather
irritating to see the message keep popping up every time to try to print a
document.

Thanks,
Anjali
