Greetings Eric,

There were a few versions of the firmware for this particular router which didn't work
properly with Messenger, the latest should work alright if you haven't upgraded recently:
http://www.linksys.com/download

Otherwise it looks like everything's working on your end -- however, you and your contact
might try turning off the QoS Packet Scheduler. To do so, click Start, then click the
Control Panel. If you're in category view click Network and Internet connections then click
Network Connections. Right click your network/internet connection, then click Properties.
Uncheck the QoS Packet Scheduler, then reboot and try again.

If you still encounter problems, more than likely the problem is on your contacts' side.

Jonathon,

I keep reading your advice to turn off the QoS Packet Scheduler,
unfortunately I cannot find one to turn off. I like the other people have no
Audio. I am using XP , Messenger 6.1 and an ADSL. When I click on the
Internet connection there is no QoS. Your help is sorely needed.

Thank you.
