I changed the settings of msn messenger(6.1.0207) to not sign in automatically when i logged
in and it has been doing this fine for months (so that when i open messenger my email
addresse is already displayed and i jsut have to click "sign in".)

contrary to other peoples problems have the opposite problem where it will NOT rememebr my
email addresse, not matter what. It does not hold any other emails that have been used
with messenger either like it used to under the drop down menu of the sign in screen.

i have checked all of the settings and they are fine.
also i recently downloaded messenger plus .

does anyone know what i can do to change this so that messenger DOES remember my email, as
i have tried everythnig i know.

Default msn messenger NEVER remembers any emails.

Hi.. I was wondering if this fix below actually worked? I
just upgraded from W2000 to XP.. had to reload MSN
Messenger.. now it wont remember my email/password each
time I sign in. I also noticed that on the Sign In
screen, it's different: no "Sign in using a different
account".. or a box to check "auto sign in".. like it
used to... I have v6.1 MSN Messenger.. any ideas?
