"Access Denied" on an previous user folder
You probably just need to Take Ownership:
"HOW TO: Take Ownership of a File or Folder in Windows XP" http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en- us;308421&sd=tech I have same problem and I have test this whid no luck \Micke -----Original Message----- I just upgraded my computer Windows XP from Home to Pro, the problem was that the Home was in Spanish and I wanted the pro in english, so I could only do a "new install" not upgrade, so when the new system was done, I lost access to the folders of my previous "users" (The folders still in the Documents and Settings folder) but I only get a window with an "Access Denied" message, does someone has an idea how to get around this?. -Thanks . |
