Default HW Upgrade

I have in mind to upgrade my HW.
I want to change Motherboard, CP ed RAM
To do this I'll backup my whole system with Ghost or sometingh like that,
the question is : is it possible to restore the system on a different HW
(HDD are alwars the same) or I must re-install WinXP ?

Thanks

Default HW Upgrade

Greetings Alberto,

In most cases it's recommended that you simply re-install, although in most cases you can
probably get away with the scenario you listed. However, be aware that if the hardware is
*that* much different, Windows will prompt you to reactivate when you restart it on the new
PC.
