Xp Sp3

Hi where can i download a safe copy of sp3.
Many sites i have looked at look a bit dodgy and some seem to install unwanted programs.
As i have recently had to do a reinstall which has set me back to sp2

Many thanks now done along with 130 updates L.O.L.

I've recently done a few re-installs of XP with SP2, and SP3 came along
as one of the automatic updates. However, SP2 and 3 are indeed
individually downloadable from MS.

I've recently done a few re-installs of XP with SP2, and SP3 came along

It goes a little faster if you already have SP3 installed. I just keep
it spinning on my file server. You still get something like 142
updates, even with SP3

I might be wrong, but ISTR that in order to install SP3, you first have
to let it do the online upgrade of IE6 to IE8 - and it simply goes on
with downloading and installing SP3.

That would not shock me but if you have the file, you can just load it
on the new system.

Although I prepared for my XP (Home) installations by downloading SP2
and 3 from Microsoft, and burning them to CDs, I've never used the SP3
disk.

I suppose I could load it on my FTP site and you
could get it with no spam or BS from Bill Gates

It's a few months since I did my last XP installation, but after the
upgrade from IE6 to 8, wasn't SP3 one of the 135 updates (with its own
KB number)?
