Default New folder in Outlook Express

I am running WinXP with Outlook Express. Made a new
folder in Outlook Express and named it after my mother so
her mail addressed to her goes into her own box. Set up
options to down load her mail into her folder. It works
fine except for a few times she has had her folder
highlighted instead of a particular message when she hits
delete and deletes this folder named after her, I then
have to go and reset everything again. Is there away to
make this folder impossible to delete just like the Inbox
folder? Thanks
