bloody hell.

1 what are you doing why you should _care_ about the 'provider’?

2 he has only one connection on LinkedIn _for that username_. You have no
idea how many usernames he might have.

3 why is the number of LinkedIn connections that _someone else_ has important
to you? Oh. Wait. You’re a stalker.

4 LinkedIn is constantly sending me requests from J. Random Strangers who I
don’t know, have never met, and don’t want near me; I simply don’t
accept the ‘connection’. I have _never_ accepted connections to people I
don’t know. I haven’t accepted a new connection in years. Perhaps the
‘provider’ doesn’t bloody feel like accepting ‘connections’.

I don't know how a LinkedIn presence might be set up or the relevance
or meaning of "connections" (as a non-user I can't see them). So what
logic has to do with that is a mystery to me. I also agree with ME's
comment about others not thinking about social media in the way you do.
To me, the lack of or briefness of such a presence for a techy gives me
more confidence in their integrity.

He’sa stalker. One of his stalking methods is to try to get people to visit
his LinkedIn page. One of the more annoying things that LinkedIn does is to
send your LinkedIn account info to other LinkedIn members if you go to their
LinkedIn Page while logged in. This means that anyone who goes to his
LinkedIn link and who has a LinkedIn account and is logged in has just told
him their account info. He gets to stalk without actually moving his lazy
ass. (I suspect that the majority of ‘connections’ LinkedIn offers me are
people who visit my LinkedIn link. I ignore them all. He doesn’t.) If you
don’t have a big LinkedIn network, he can’t extend his reach. He can’t
do thinks like threaten to tell your connections what you’ve been up to.
Given his tendency to falsely smear people (see further the devs of ClamXAV,
EtreCheck, etc.) it is a really bad idea to let him anywhere near anything
important.

I watched your President salute every young officer graduating from West
Point today. That was remarkable exercise for a man of his age.

His very long address beforehand was truly electioneering. He had no
notes and I could see no auto-cue. A truly marvellous memory if there
was no trickery involved.

I watched it all! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4hEnKyqS18

I suspect there will never be another event quite like this one.

It doesn't cost a small fortune. It could be a hobby for him, like the
numerous other providers of free NSPs.

Some people like to tinker and spend their time w/ cars or boats while
others prefer dining out at expensive restaurants for the food or
service experience. There are a lot of hobbies which cost money and are
done for fun rather than profit.
