I am preparing to give up on Diesel. He is playing the most absurd
games, and it really boils down to him demanding I agree with him 100%
about past things that mean nothing to me, or he simply is not mature
enough to move forward in peace.

My goal is peace. He has made it clear he is not, currently, mature
enough to post in a peaceful way.

So you can see what his obsession is without his 1000+ line comments, it
seems to come down to these two posts:

And I think he is right about himself, at least for now. He complains
when you note what he did 20 years ago, based on what those actions say

In the past I made the mistake of giving in to similar demands of
Carroll's and, for example, posting with a name he demanded I admit I
posted a (I could not honestly do so without posting a that name). I was
completely honest about it, but he then pulls references to that out of
context and says this means I did a bunch of posting with HIS sock. I
will not make (knowingly) make that mistake again!

Anyway, this has gotten a bit long winded... but if you see me failing
to respond to Diesel's posts, at least on his obsession here, I wanted
you to know why. I have given him PLENTY of chances to show higher
maturity. He repeatedly fails... and I find that to be a shame.

several years later. Circa, 2006-2007 or so. When he opted to do some
searching on me and emailing me. He asked me if I was so and so and if
I did the things he read about, and I told him I was and yes, I did
those things.

David would much prefer to leave those details out, and instead, allow
people to think the worst of me. I did some stupid **** as a teenager
and very young adult. I've taken full responsibility for what I did and
the harm I caused. I've apologized many times for all of it, and I've
tried to in a small way, make up for what I did by writing and
supporting for three years an antimalware utility known as BugHunter.

BugHunter got me recruited to work for a company you might have heard
about; Malwarebytes. The big chief himself emailed me out of the blue
one day and asked if I'd like to come and work for them, as a malware
researcher. They knew of my background and what I'd been doing since
then to right some of those wrongs. They offered me a job! and I took
it. I worked for the company as a malware researcher for two years. I
was also in charge of the antipiracy dept. I'm the one responsible for
the keygen and crack hunting and disabling functions.

I also shared knowledge during the time I worked with them which was
used to make significant improvements to the program. My real name is
visible on older copies of the software on the about page. And that
technology is still used in the latest copies of the software. So, it
was solid

David leaves ALL of those pesky little details out when he brings up
something I wrote twenty plus years ago. Very honest guy, eh?

paragraph of a reply I wrote to you was for general code. That should
have been obvious, by the usage of the word 'something' or 'program'
if all else failed. No mention of any bot, or anything else

As myself, FTR, and Apd all tried to explain, multiple times, the 3rd
paragraph of a reply I wrote to you was for general code. That should
have been obvious, by the usage of the word 'something' or 'program'
if all else failed. No mention of any bot, or anything else
specifically. Program/something. as in, general. As you were told,
repeatedly.

Fact is, what you wrote there is entirely a lie.
There was no calling me out for anything, there was no clarification
that I had the compiled code. I don't even know that it is compiled
and i've stated that, multiple times prior to writing what you cherry
picked, entirely, out of context.
