Default XP2 update

I have XP1 + all updates installed. Once I install SP2, can I remove them
or should I leave them be.[They appear in "Add-Remove" option of Control
Panel] Thanks beforehand

Dimitry;
Once you install SP-2, the entries in Add/Remove Programs should
disappear.
However their uninstall files may remain.
That is because if you uninstall SP-2, you then have the capability to
uninstall the various other updates.

I would suggest that if you are satisfied after an appropriate time,
few weeks to a month, the uninstall files can be safely deleted:

leave them! why would you uninstall them? leave windows be.
