can i set IM to show off line automatically when starting up?
Is there any way that IM can show me as "off line" when it automatically
starts up. I dont want to have it show me as on line and then me have to manually set it "show as off line". I am trying to avoid an ex seeing me online. thanks daisy |

They are block detecters out there, but they only function if you open the persons window when they are blocked. There are no other methods of detecting a block apart from that, so you're safe. All the blocked person will see is that you are Offline. Permanently - or until you remove the block. Chuck Croll Spam sucks - PLEASE get rid of the spam before emailing me! |

wrong... actually there are block detectors out there than don't need you to
open a window... "Chuck" wrote in message ... On Thu, 8 May 2003 15:43:14 +0100, "Daisy" wrote: would they know I had blocked them though? Exactly my experience. Thanks for letting me know I am not going nuts ;-) I tried several ways but there was never a reliable way to check if I blocked or not. -- Cheers:Siegfried runat="server" / |
