How safe is it to delete *.tmp files?

Hi

Reboot your system, to make sure that none of those files are in use, then
the .tmp files can be deleted.

Hey teri,
*.tmp are temporary files created by programs. They are left over because
those particular programs do not do a good cleanup job(most of the times).
You can search for them all and safely delete them. If anyone of them is in
use windows will not let you delete them.
