*.tmp
Hi
Reboot your system, to make sure that none of those files are in use, then the .tmp files can be deleted. -- Will Denny MS MVP Windows Shell/User Please reply to the News Groups "Teri" wrote in message ... How safe is it to delete *.tmp files? |

Hey teri,
*.tmp are temporary files created by programs. They are left over because those particular programs do not do a good cleanup job(most of the times). You can search for them all and safely delete them. If anyone of them is in use windows will not let you delete them. Best wishes yogi "Teri" wrote: How safe is it to delete *.tmp files? |
