Thanks Roy I have tryed to set up OUTLOOK Express. I have set up my e-mail,
but when it comes to the News Server Address, along with user name and password no one seems to know what that is. My ISP Huhesnet is clueless. That is under News Groups. Any ideas? I went to them when my ISP at the time decided not to carry news any more. It's not free, but their lower levels (I use Bronze) are reasonably priced. Whoever you decide to buy access from will supply you with a user name and password as well as the address to use (in my case, news.giganews.com). |

You do not need Giganews to gain access to the Microsoft Public Newsgroups! You will get a better service not accessing through Giganews. -- Gerry ~~~~ FCA Stourport, England Enquire, plan and execute ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anthony Buckland wrote: "Barry" wrote in message ... You don't need a username or password to use that server. For the rest of the newsgroups you could go to www.motzarella.org and sign up for a free account there. The only drawback to Motzarella is that it doesn't carry any of the binary newsgroups. -- Roy Smith Windows 7 RC1 |
