Thanks Roy I have tryed to set up OUTLOOK Express. I have set up my e-mail,
but when it comes to the News Server Address, along with user name and
password no one seems to know what that is. My ISP Huhesnet is clueless. That
is under News Groups.
Any ideas?

Then quit using the web based interface for the newsgroups and use a
real newsreader. There are several free newsreader programs to choose
from, Outlook Express which comes with WinXP does newsgroups. Other
choices include (but are not limited to) Thunderbird, Windows Live Mail,
SeaMonkey, and Forte Agent.

If Huhesnet is "clueless", that seems to imply that they don't supply
access to newsgroups. So you need access to a news feed. I use
Giganews (giganews.com). I went to them when my ISP at the time
decided not to carry news any more. It's not free, but their lower levels
(I use Bronze) are reasonably priced. Whoever you decide to buy access
from will supply you with a user name and password as well as the
address to use (in my case, news.giganews.com).

Anthony

You do not need Giganews to gain access to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups! You will get a better service not accessing through
Giganews.

If all you want is the Microsoft newsgroups then use the Microsoft nntp
server at msnews.microsoft.com. You don't need a username or password to
use that server. For the rest of the newsgroups you could go to
www.motzarella.org and sign up for a free account there. The only drawback
to Motzarella is that it doesn't carry any of the binary newsgroups.

Motzarella.org will exist for only a few more days. It will become
Eternal-September.org on July 1, and anyone who wants to use it should
now use Eternal-September.org instead.

I knew that the change was going to take place. Just thought that it only
applied to the news server address and not the web address as well.
