Stuck on screen saver
Compaq presario 5000. When it switches to screen saver it won't leave.
Tried Esc key, various mouse clicks. Makes system unusable. Any way to stop computer from using screen saver? Can't remember for sure but I think so. TIA -- I love a good meal! That's why I don't cook. |

Though it does suggest something amiss with the screensaver executable - have you tried (same route as above) a different one? Though now we're mostly out of using CRT monitors, the primary reason for having the savers is no longer there - though the secondary one of providing some amount of security is perhaps more needed now. -- J.
