Default Can I have a different screen resolution for each user?

I like 800x600 pixels as my screen resolution, someone
else in my family prefers 1024x768. How can we adjust the
display property settings so that each of us get our
prefered resolution on our desktops?

To quote Doug Knox, MS-MVP Windows Media Center\Windows
Powered Smart Display:

XP User Display Settings is a "small utility will allow all users on your
system to have their own screen resolution, and have this setting
retained at each logon. This application is freeware."

I have used the utility and found it very easy to configure and to use
(especially compared to MultiRes.exe). For more information, and
to download XP_UserDisplay.exe, see:
