Can't connect to W2K machine w/ RDC
Any MCP replies???????
-----Original Message----- That is a possible scenario but it is not the case here. One of the servers is a large TS server at our clients, and numerous other users can connect without an issue. They also have Windows XP Pro.....thanks for the suggestion. -----Original Message----- Chris, Would it be possible that you have ran out of concurrent licenses? If it's an application server, I believe Windows would only grant you 2 connections. Buggin' "Chris" wrote in message ... I have been using Windows XP and its lovely Remote Desktop client for quite some time now. I have never had any problems aside from explainable network issues. I have been using this client to connect to both Windows 2000 servers and Windows 2003 servers. Recenlty i have lost the ability to connect to any Windows 2000 servers. When trying to connect i receive the very bland "The client could not establish a connection to the remote computer" and it follows with "The most likely causes for this error are and gives 3 even more bland errors". I have looked in my event viewer and haven't noticed anything in either sys or app logs. I have gone into my registry and removed the connection histrory, and tried again, but same errors...no luck. I really this need to work because i support numerous network remotley, and i just cannot like without it. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.....thanks Chris . . |
