unwanted videos being automatically downloaded in IE 7

Some sites are downloading videos as soon as I log on and without permission.
That is slowing things down. Is there some way to block videos from doing
this.

You will need to know that wheneve you access web site, all the web
pages are normally downloaded locally to the browser's cache in order
to be able to show the web page.

You will need to run anti-spyware utilities in order make sure your PC
is not taken over by some type of spyware, which forces the videos to
download.
