I have an asus P4S800D-X MB with a 2.4 GHz cpu -- want to update to a
faster cpu -- 3.2 ghz is now fairly reasonable. Should I get a Northwood
or Prescott? Thanks

Why ask here? Use whatever your mainboard will work with.
Regardless, it is purely a preferencial choice and as such has no
bearing on the OS. Or, IOW,

And a few more even before those. Still... replying to him does NOT
stop him. Maybe NOT replying to him will have a different effect.

It might then be better to aim your reply AT the newbie, rather than
to him. Something to the effect:

"Ignore this bozo. He's got nothing better to do with his time than
to use it to harass new folks."

I have no copyright... you are free to use it g

That's typical behavior of someone troll-like such as him, who does
nothing here besides irritating people by posting the same insulting
message over and over again.

If he didn't continue changing his posting name, he'd end up in almost
everyone's killfile, so he frequently changes it to escape killfiles.
But no problem--it's easy to add his new name to the killfile too.

Whether you used one particular name or not is entirely beside the
point. The point is that you continually change the name you post
under to escape from people's killfiles.

And also, very clearly, you are now also using *my* name to post
under. What a piddling poor attempt at attacking me that is! Over and
above everything else low class you've down, that's something you
should be especially ashamed of.

Still another post you've made using my name. You should be thoroughly
ashamed of yourself, but it's unlikely that you are.
