Default Re-Installing Win XP Using System Recovery Discs

-----Original Message-----
PC is agonizingly sluggish and freezes a lot. I want to
re-install my system files using the system recovery
discs, but don't want to lose my data files. I have an
80gb hard drive partioned as a C-drive (20gb) for system
files and a D-drive (60gb) for data files. Is this
possible?
.
You might try the Upgrade option from your installation

CD.
