How to re-install "Display" in Control Panel. TIA
After a recent re-install of WinXP I find that the Display seems not
to be at "full strength" ie: not all options available. The "advanced" option being the most needed just now for me. The icon is there but no drop-downs etc. Is there any way to re-install Display without major disruption? TIA for any & all help. |

Also consider using some of the following tweaks, collected by Kelly: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm Line 227. (r-h column) Restore/Enable Screensaver Tab Settings/Display Line 282. Enable the Appearance Tab - Display Line 285. (r-h column) Restore All Display Tabs - Remove All Display Tabs & Icon -- Joe =o) |

Good advice, also ensure your motherboard drivers are installed this could
also contribute to problems with sound and etc. "sandy58" wrote: After a recent re-install of WinXP I find that the Display seems not to be at "full strength" ie: not all options available. Thanks, both for prompt replies. I fell back on a "clean Install" eventually but have saved your advice. |
