Default missing space on hard drive

after running CHKDSK I get these results..6337610 KB total disk space.
4187002 KB in 16549 files.
5188 KB in 1585 indexes.
0 KB in bad sectors.
57223 KB in use by the system.
33744 KB occupied by the log file.
2088197 KB available on disk.
But I have only loaded 2 gb of info this new install wich leave me 2 Gb short

You need to enable show hidden files. Start, Control Panel, Folder =
Options, View, Advanced Settings.=20

Are you using any Norton software?
