Default Eliminating Spyware

Xref: kermit microsoft.public.windowsxp.security_admin:144050

I continually get spyware on my XP system. I recently ran
Spybot and it eliminated several items, but said it could
not eliminate two of them. I ran regedit but could not
locate the files manually. So...I changed users thinking
maybe my other user had something that would help. When I
tried to swith users, a box came up saying "MS Install
trying to install Money Express 2002". Then the whole
system locked up. I rebooted and again, the same thing
with this user. I don't even have Money Express (that I
know of) unless it came with my system. I have never used
it. I tried inserting the Application discs that came with
the system, but that didn't help. Now I have a bigger mess
than when I started. I can't even get this user to boot up
nor can I get the spyware cleaned from my system. I am on
a home network (I have 2 computers networked with Linksys
box sharing internet connection). Is it possible I deleted
something I shouldn't have with Spybot?? Any suggestions
appreciated.

I've had similiar issues - I've searched the web for

info for days. I've used Spybot, Adware and SpySweeper to
find and remove spyware, with the later being the most
effective. http://www.spysweeper.com/
