Defrag crash
When I run defrag on windows XP it gets to about 4%
complete and then closes down and restarts. Any suggestions?

Defrag crash
You may also want to use Ctrl+Alt+Del and check the task manager to see if anything is running in the background. I had this problem once and was told that anything running in the background - like stuff that may be on a timer- will stop the defrag and it
will start over when that program concludes.
