Default Keep getting signed out

I have an Asus Zenpad S8 (Z580C-B1-Bk). My last update was 6.1, since I
haven't found any newer ROMs yet.

My problem is that I keep getting signed out. Once I re-enter my PIN I will
be right back where I was, but it gets annoying. It has happened with a
couple different apps, so I tend to think it is not directly a single app
problem.

TIA

Please ignore, I thought I was in the Android group. My apologies.
