Default pointers for a good password cracker for win 10

I just got a call from a relative who has managed to forget his Win10
password. In the past I used crackers such as Trinity Rescue Kit to
address this kind of problem, as it's not the first time that a relative
has called about this. (It's not even the first time that this
particular relative has lost his password, and I'm beginning to become
annoyed.) It is the first time that a Win10 system was involved, though.
Will TRK work with Win10? If not, does anyone have any suggestions for
something which will work? Yes, the last time I created a rescue USB
stick. However, that was for his old Win7 machine and he's lost it anyway.

Well, give these a look at:

https://www.howtogeek.com/96805/how-...an-install-cd/
https://www.howtogeek.com/96630/how-...-the-easy-way/
https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/1436...buntu-live-cd/

Hope word wrap doesn't kill these links.
Also I see one of them has a link to Windows 10 resetting.

AlAfter you get the password reset using one of the methods Big Al

suggested make sure to create a new administrative account on the PC
with a password YOU will remember. That way next time all you have to
do is log into "your" account and go into users and change the other
accounts password. Much easier and faster to fix things that way.

I use this for my relatives that keep forgetting the password...

I haven't been in college since 1984. You appear to be a troll. Say
bye, now.

So do you, especially since I cannot find any prior posts by your nym.
Nymshifters are also trolls. This is not a warez, cracking, pirating,
or hacking newsgroup. There are newsgroups for those nefarious
activities. No one here knows if your story is true. Take out all the
backstory and your post condenses to:

I want to break into a Win10 computer. Will TRK work?

The rest just sounds a lot like a sob story in a 419 Nigerian scam:
instead of money, you are pleading for a hacking tip.

You haven't looked very hard. I've been posting here for several months,
almost a year.

Nymshifters are also trolls.

Please point out any other nyms I have posted under.

Or, even more likely:

I live in Nigeria. Life is tough here. I need money, and like most of my
countrymen, I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Lots of people
in the USA have lots of money and are easiy hacked.

The poster has at least one other post to this group, on January 2.
He doesn't sound like a Nigerian. So, that's much less likely.
Anybody can need a Windows password cracker.

Once you get your relative back up, set a password hint that even this,
um, mentally challenged user can figure out.

That page is woefully out of date, it's 2015, and password changing
isn't done from the Control Panel any longer.

W10 1903... You have to go to StartSettingsAccountsSigh In Options

I don't even use a password for Windows. I trust myself and I trust
