Default Accessing my online banking service

When i try to access the web page to log onto my online bank i get a message
to say that the security certificate with this sight may have a problem then
it is looking for a user id and password to access this site, i have
contacted my bank and they say it is a problem with my pc not there site, I
do not remeber ever setting a user id or password to access secure sites i
have tried all user id have had and passwords is there any way of removing
this block so i can log onto my bank

It happened to me many times, I solved using Netscape instead of IExplorer

Also make sure the site is authentic, I just cleaned a system that a trojan
had changed many many bank url's to a phishing ip address via the hosts file.
Depending on when it is asking for the password, you could be infected.
