Regedit - enable/disable open file warning
Help! I'm using Office XP and used to be able to double-click to open a JPG
attachment in a message. Now, it comes up with a Security Warning message asking me if I want to open the file. I recall, many moons ago, that there used to be a dialog box with a check mark to enable or disable that function. Any ideas as to what registry setting it might be to reset that part of Outlook to allow me to double-click and open a JPG or GIF attachment? Thank you in Advance! Jim

Click Tools Macro Security. Change the setting to High. -- Brian A. Another good suggestion, but if I read the notes on the support page

Check your email app settings for "Do not allow.....". If it's checked, uncheck it. In OE it will be under the Security tab.
