Regedit - enable/disable open file warning
Help! I'm using Office XP and used to be able to double-click to open a JPG
attachment in a message. Now, it comes up with a Security Warning message asking me if I want to open the file. I recall, many moons ago, that there used to be a dialog box with a check mark to enable or disable that function. Any ideas as to what registry setting it might be to reset that part of Outlook to allow me to double-click and open a JPG or GIF attachment? Thank you in Advance! Jim |

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, the Macro Security setting was
already set to high. Any other thoughts? "Brian A." wrote: In an office app: Click Tools Macro Security. Change the setting to High. -- Brian A. Regedit - enable/disable open file warning
Another good suggestion, but if I read the notes on the support page
correctly I'm already running the lastest version of Jet 4.0 with SP 2. Any other ideas? Thanks...Jim "Brian A." wrote: Update to the latest Jet Database Engine. Check your email app settings for "Do not allow.....". If it's checked, uncheck it. In OE it will be under the Security tab.
Otherwise post to a more appropriate Office ng. -- Brian A.
