Two Problems since installing SP2
Since installing SP2 a month or so ago all has been fine with a couple of
exceptions. 1) My newsreader (Outlook2000 which uses OE I believe) used to delete all downloaded messages and headers after 10 days, which is the way I have always had it set. After SP2 this no longer happens unless I open OE independently and this now deletes message bodies but leaves the headers. I can see no change in the settings. Is there a cure for this? 2) The system used to create an automatic system restore point every few days but this no longer happens unless I do something (like install a new program) or create one manually. Is this usual? How can I get it to perform as it did before? I can see no change in the previous settings. Many thanks for any information received. -- Smeagol |
