Default missing .bin file

Hi, AVG is telling me I have a missing .bin file, and so would accept
updates. I've tried downloading avg again. This doesn't fix it. What could
this .bin file be? How would I get it back. Thanks.

A *.bin file refers to a binary file. This error is showing up
whilst doing an automatic update of AVG. The update definition
file may be corrupt, resulting in the error message. Probably
nothing wrong with AVG that is installed in the computer. Noted
this issue on Saturday PM when the problem occurred in several
local computers.

Known issue.. Caused by a corrupt update package (at AVG's servers). They
should fix this shortcly, and no user action is required.

I have just noticed the same problem here. I have uninstalled and have
tried downloading a replacement. I am having trouble linking to the AVG
site so it could well be a number of other persons have the same
problem.
