Default McAfee again

Right now I have mcupdate.exe using all my CPU power. This is
interesting, given that I removed all that could be removed and
cancelled by subscription. I just tried to uninstall it all again,
but it says that there's something called "McAfee Services" that has
to be uninstalled first. I'm willing to do this, and I'll be
cheerful about it, but I can't find anything with a name similar to
that.

I'm open to suggestions. Especially from someone who'd had to deal
with this.

Thanks.

Thnanks.

I found MCPR.exe as the first result of a google, and that removed
everything. Things work better now.

mholt,

Glad that you found the solution to your problem. McAfee does like to be
a little proposterous with their software removal.
