Default Let Sp2 Unblock Your Msn Files

Hi,

I had a problem with SP2 and I havexp home. Basically windows security center would block any recieved files over msn, which is very annoying.

Here is the cure :

http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/extfix.reg

close msn, download it, open it, click yes to let it install the re-open.

Pics should work

- AND TAKE WINDOWS FIREWALL OFF IF YOU HAVE NORTON OR ANY OTHER FIREWALL

Hope this helps

Are you crazy?

From the reg file:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Associations]
"LowRiskFileTypes"=".exe;.bat;.com;.cmd;.reg;.vbs; .inf;.msi;.htm;.html;.swf;.js;.mp3;.mp2;.ape;.apl; .flac;.shn;.mpc;.mp+;.wma;.ogg;.mp4;.aac;.voc;.mid ;.mac;.cda;.kar;.midi;.rar;.zip

MowGreen is correct.

NEVER download files from anywhere unless it is from the website of the
developer, manufacturer or some entity that you trust.
