Default Wininfo.exe and my Desktop not apearing on login.,

When ever i log into any of the users on my computer I
come up with this blank desktop, no Taskbar, no icons,
nothing at all but my wallpaper. If I Alt-Tab-Delete to
bring up the task manager I find a proccess running
called "wininfo.exe", if I end this proccess my desktop
appears as normal and it all runs fine from there. I
tried un-checking it on the startup list, but once i
restart it just rechecks its self. I cant seem to find
anyway to stop it. I don't think its an important windows
proccess because if I end it, everything else runs
perfect. This happens on all users, any access level.
I've tried making a new user account but it happens on
that to.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Alex,

This is a tricky one. This one is listed both under run and run once. You
need to follow this process:

Uncheck it via Start/Run/msconfig. Then go to Start/Run/Regedit and check
all four of these keys and remove the entry.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\RunOnce
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\RunOnce

Once you have removed the runkeys again, run this script. It will remove
the registry keys stored for the program under msconfig.

Clear Disabled Items from Msconfig Startup (Line 148)

None of the above will uninstall your program, it will just disable it from
running upon boot and remove the icon (if any) from the Notification Area.
