To fix this problem download and apply the registry patch
from the following URL,

which will automatically change the "NoSaveSettings" value
to 0:
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...vesettings.reg

After downloading this patch, right-click the file and
select "Merge."

The registry setting will be modified automatically.

-----Original Message-----
Since I didn't get a sensible response yesterday, I'll

try again--

When I turn on my machine and it boots up, everything on

the screen is BIG!
If I right click on my desktop and open "Display

Properties" and go
to"Settings", I find that it is set on 640 x 480 pixels.

I change this to
800 X 600, click on "Apply" and "OK" and all is well

until the next time I
shut down and restart. It always starts in the 640 X 480

mode no matter
what I do.

How can I "lock in" the 800 X 600 pixel settings??

John
