Here is a safer way, that gives you more functionality. I have been
using T-Clock for many years now. It takes the place of the Windows
clock at the right of the toolbar. Have the time in harmless format or
what ever you want. It can give you both the date and time in two rows.

In addition to having the day date and time in the toolbar, you can
define hot keys to put different parts of the information in the the
clipboard so it can be pasted any where. I have two hot keys, one
gives me the date in the format mm/dd/yyyy and the other gives Mmm dd,
yyyy. Again they can be pasted into as spreadsheet. word processor,
browser, email program,etc..

I didn't want another program, just wanted the seconds to show
you can download a script from them that does it for you.
it is safe

Thank you for the T-clock zip folders on GitHub.
https://github.com/White-Tiger/T-Clock/releases
https://github.com/White-Tiger/T-Clo...rc/T-Clock.zip

Requires: Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable
(install both 32bit vcredist_x86 + 64bit vcredist_x64 on 64bit OS)

Release 2.4.4#492-rc

Unzipped, there is an RTF file named T-Clock-Help.rtf & a few executables
Clock.exe
Clock64.exe
XPCalendar.exe
Options.exe

Running "Clock64.exe" replaces the taskbar clock.
The taskbar clock changes to a different font & adds the weekday.
If you right click on the taskbar clock you see different menus.
One option is to have T-Clock on only on one monitor.
The other monitor then has the normal Windows taskbar clock.

Thanks!

This should not have been posted to the W7 'group; it clearly says
"Windows 7 users will instead need a third-party utility like T-Clock
Redux to do this instead."

FWIW, here's TClockEx (1.4.2) running quite happily in my 7SP1-32 with
Classic Shell (you can vary what shows - this is how I like it):

Britain - it's almost as if Britain is a subset of Radio 4. - Stephen Fry, in
