Default Windows Movie Maker

After importing my photos and videos, I completed storyline and timeline-
tried to publish my movie but was unable to burn it to a dvdr disc - error
messages dialog says Unspecifed Error with no explanation - I was told by
forum to remove all transitions for storyline, which I did - Still unable to
burn....encoding process at 17%- burning disc would stop and says unable to
create DVD. I was then told to check Event Viewer, then Windows Log, then
Application Log, which I did...and found numorous
errors on the dates and time I tried and re-tried to burn Movie to Disc.
-Application log showed - Level(error), Dates & Time, Source(user Profile),
Event ID(1542) Task
Category(none)- on right panel of application logs showe Actions - what type
of actions needed to fix this problem. Also told by forum to check Device
Manager - that region is set to United States, I did - Current Setting-Region
1 which is United States. Please Help...Pulling hairs. Do I need to install
a program to fix problem.
I have Window Vista- Home Premium which includes Service Pak 1. Please
Respone.
